History
In 1888, Kurabo Industries Ltd. was founded, a modern spinning industry conceived by three young men in the city of Kurashiki, Okayama Prefecture, Japan.
Due to the expansion of the Kurabo company and consequent need to globalize its operations, the first international manufacturing facility was established in Brazil in 1957, currently named Kurashiki do Brasil Têxtil Ltda.
After that, other textile companies were created in Thailand, Indonesia, China, and Vietnam.
In 1972, the current plant of Kurashiki do Brasil Têxtil Ltda. was founded in Ponta Grossa, State of Parana, in addition to the office in São Paulo, State of São Paulo, which centralizes the financial and business administration.
